Regulatory status of materials commonly used in research studies

Enacted November 2025, the Fiscal Year 2026 Agriculture Appropriations bill changed the regulatory status of many cannabis-based research materials. R3CR will provide up-to-date information on these changing regulations that will go into effect on November 12, 2026.

The following examples of materials commonly used in research studies are listed with the regulatory status of each as currently interpreted by R3CR:
