Advancing careers and overcoming barriers in cannabis science
The Resource Center for Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research (R3CR) is dedicated to fostering the next generation of cannabis researchers and supporting the continued growth of existing investigators. We provide a comprehensive suite of educational resources and professional development opportunities to help researchers overcome barriers and advance their careers in cannabis science.
Workshops and Webinars
The R3CR organizes and convenes workshops and webinars to help researchers generate more rigorous scientific data that addresses knowledge gaps about cannabis and its constituents.
These events will cover a range of topics including regulatory updates, research standards, and the latest research findings.
By leveraging the geographically diverse locations of our partner institutions, we aim to increase accessibility for researchers regardless of career stage or location.
Online Resources and Mentorship
Our website and social media presence serve as key tools for disseminating guidance and resources to the cannabis research community.
Investigators have access to the Regulatory Guidance Core team so they can ask questions about regulatory compliance and best practices.
We also plan to offer information on consultants who specialize in preparing FDA Investigational New Drug (IND) applications and editing grant proposals.
